WEST BEND - The Menasha Macs won the 2018 Wisconsin Class A State Baseball Tournament on Sunday with three victories.
The Macs beat Kewaskum 6-4 to win the losers bracket championship game, then faced the West Allis Nationals for the championship.
The Macs beat West Allis 7-4 in the first championship game. The Macs trailed 3-0 before scoring five runs in the fifth inning to take a 5-3 lead.
The Macs then won the championship game 11-3 over the Nationals. Adam Grambow hit a two-run home run for the Macs, who jumped to a 4-0 lead in the first inning.
Colin Englebert of the Macs was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
The Macs beat Clyman 7-3 on Saturday before losing to West Allis 4-2 to fall into the losers bracket.
The Macs are 28-7-2 overall and will conclude the season this week with three games in the Northeastern Wisconsin Baseball League Invite.
