Hofa Park's 5th Dairyland Title in the last 6 Years

Hofa Park defeated the Shawano Lobos by a score of 7-4 in the Dairyland League Championship game today in Hofa Park. Shawano went ahead 2-0 in the top of the 3rd inning on a Chase Henning 2 run home run. Doug Coe’s solo home run in the bottom of the 4th made the score 2-1. Tyler Jacobson ‘s 2 RBI single with 2 outs in the bottom of the 5th put the Panthers ahead 3-2. Shawano tied the game in the top of the 6th at 3 but Coe lead off the bottom of the 6th hitting the first pitch off the house in center field to make it 4-3 Panthers. Shawano tied the game at 4 in the top of the 7th on a RBI double by Dylan Berg but Jacobson ‘s RBI single with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th put the Panthers ahead again 5-4 and Adam Frost followed with a 2 run home run to plate the final runs of the game and make the score 7-4. Jacobson was named the MVP of the game going 2 for 4 with 3 RBI and pitching the last 2 innings for the save, allowing one runner to reach on an error while striking out 3 batters. Matt Zittlow got the win on the mound throwing 7 innings, allowing 4 earned runs on 8 hits, 1 walk while striking out 6 Lobos. This is the Panther’s 4th straight Championship and 5th in the last 6 years!!
